After a slow start, Liberty got it in gear. Vasko was who I thought he’d be with Jamey Chadwell. Efficient passer, 3 TDs no picks, and Liberty’s leading rusher. Defense had one breakdown against Maine where they gave up a 77 yard rushing TD, other than that they played shutout ball allowing just 239 total yards the rest of the game. Jax State meanwhile got to play Cam Fancher. And if you’re new here, he sucks. He gets knocked out of the game and Tayven Jackson leads UCF to victory. Meanwhile the Jax State offense is just not very good. I felt that way preaseason, I feel that way now. If Liberty can key on Cam Cook, they’re toast, because he’s all they got. Wimsatt isn’t cut out for playing from behind, when defenses know he’s passing he’s a walking turnover.
